Improvement and construction of 11 mixed-use and pedestrian bridges in the municipality of Pueblo Rico

The project consisted of the improvement, construction and structural reinforcement of 11 bridges in the municipality of Pueblo Rico. The purpose of the project was based on the need to improve the mobility conditions of the Afro, indigenous and mestizo ethnic groups, settled in villages surrounding the town of Santa Cecilia, since the hanging bridges represent the only means of inter-village communication in the area. with the township and its municipal seat. In total, 420 meters of bridge structure were built, with more than 30 tons of steel, complying with the parameters established by the AASHTO standard and the Colombian Bridge Design Standard.
